Honoring Veterans Through the Outdoors

This Hunt is open to any military Veterans who have served our country in the Army, Navy, Air Force Marines, Special Ops or Other. Are physically able to navigate normal pheasant habitat such as, tall grass, some wetlands and or changing landscape. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have the facilities or capabilities to provide accommodations for hunters who would otherwise require special equipment or accommodations.

Those Hunters participating will assemble at the Monches Fish and Game Club Land where they will be met by the hunting coordinator (Bruce Shine) and his team of field guides. Instructions and team assignments will be reviewed, and the hunt will commence at 9:00a.

All hunters should practice safety first and are required to wear a (Vest or Jacket) and a (Hat) all consisting of a minimum of 50% Blaze Orange while on club property. Guns should be unloaded at all times, while in general walking, parking, and social areas. Guns should only be loaded when at your assigned field location and while in presence of your field guide.

Ammunition & Dogs will be provided under the direction of your field guide. Should you need a gun, special accommodations can be made by contacting the following

Hunting will be followed by a lunch to be provided by the Monches Fish and Game Club and any birds harvested will be cleaned and packaged for hunters to take with them.
