The primary member endorsing the applicant seeking a hunting membership will be responsible for checking and updating contact information for the applicant on an annual basis. Updates in contact information must be written and given to the VP of Membership for the club. The primary member will also help contact the applicant as necessary and serve as a mentor to the applicant upon the applicant becoming a regular member for their first year of membership. In the event that the primary member is no longer a club member, the aforementioned responsibilities rests with the second and third endorsees respectively. Failure to follow all club rules and regulations and/or failure to fulfill any fund raising or work duties can result in immediate suspension, loss of membership and/or forfeiture of dues and initiation fees. When a membership spot is open, a reasonable effort (three attempts) will be made to contact the applicant. After the third attempt to contact the applicant, the applicant will be skipped and the available membership position will be offered to the next applicant on the club waiting list. The skipped applicant will be retain their position on the waiting list for one more open membership position in a subsequent year. If after that time, the applicant can not be contacted with a reasonable effort, their membership application will be discarded.
