About Our Club
Experience the Outdoors at Monches Fish & Game Club
The Monches Fish and Game Club is in the Southwestern part of Washington County, WI. The club offers 160 acres of private hunting land near Erin WI. Here members can enjoy the great outdoors while sharing the comradery of fellow members as they hunt pheasant, deer, turkey, rabbit and more. In addition, we promote an upland game bird land management program and afford our members to enjoy group fishing events whether it be open water or hard water ice fishing at one of the many lakes in the area. Namely, Pewaukee, Okauchee, North Lake, Pine Lake, Beaver and more.
Preserving Wildlife, Supporting Our Community
Our club which has been around since 1940, is designed to provide habitat conducive to supporting healthy numbers of wild game across a variety of species, so current and future members can experience quality hunting opportunities and preserve our coveted natural resources. We also actively promote community programs such as, take a Kid Fishing Day, take a Vet Hunting Outing, The Annual Club Ice Fisheree, The Fish Stocking Program and our support of the Lakeland Officials Association which recruits and trains new sports officials badly needed at all levels in all sports. These events allow us to give back to our youth who represent our future and the veterans who gave so much in the past for our freedoms today. Their commitment has helped protect & preserve our future fisheries.
Membership, Events & Club Traditions
Our programs are mainly funded through our annual Ice Fisheree each year on the first Sunday in February, members dues and donations. New members applications are considered in the order received when openings become available. At present the club is limited to 85 members and meetings are conducted quarterly or more at the direction of the president and club board. Club newsletters are distributed with upcoming events, reports etc. To keep all members apprised of updates, news and notes.
